By signing up for Scaleplus Rewards you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable. If something needs clarifying, email legal@scaleplusrewards.com.
1. The service
Scaleplus Rewards is a loyalty program platform for small businesses. We provide a dashboard, a customer-facing card, a scanner, analytics, and notifications. The service is provided on a subscription basis at the tier you select.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password private. Tell us at security@scaleplusrewards.com if you suspect a breach. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and your business must be legally registered.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use Scaleplus to send spam, scam customers, or run a fake giveaway.
- Don't import customer data you don't have permission to use.
- Don't reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or attempt to break in.
- Don't resell access without a written agreement.
4. Payments
The Starter tier is free for up to 200 members. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. If a payment fails, we email you and retry; if it fails three times in a row, the account drops to read-only until billing is fixed. Refunds for the unused portion of a month are available on request within 30 days of cancellation.
5. Customer data
The customer data you upload (names, phones, visit history) belongs to you. We hold it on your behalf as a data processor. You can export it anytime as CSV from Settings → Privacy. If your account closes, we delete it within 30 days.
6. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. Real-time status is on the status page. If we miss the target in any month, contact support and we'll credit the next invoice pro-rata.
7. Liability
We do our best to keep the service running and your data safe. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, missed opportunities, etc.).
8. Termination
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing or by emailing hello@scaleplusrewards.com. We can suspend an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules, with notice when reasonable. We can wind down the service entirely with 90 days' notice and a way to export your data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of Makati City unless we both agree on arbitration.
10. Changes
We can update these terms. Material changes go to account owners by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new version.
