This page explains what data Scaleplus Rewards collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the controls you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@scaleplusrewards.com.
Who we are
Scaleplus Rewards is operated by Scaleplus Inc., a Philippine-registered company. When you use our app or website, Scaleplus is the data controller for the personal information described below.
What we collect
- Account data, your name, email, business name, and password hash. We need this to give you a working dashboard.
- Member data, names, phone numbers, emails, and visit history of your customers, entered by you or signed up via your QR. We hold this on your behalf.
- Transaction data, points earned, points redeemed, rewards claimed. Used to calculate balances and reporting.
- Usage data, pages visited, features used, broad device type. Used to improve the product.
- Billing data, when you upgrade, our payment processor (Stripe) handles the card. We see the last four digits and the receipt; we never see the full card number.
Why we collect it
Three reasons: to run the service you signed up for, to send you operational email (account changes, security alerts, the occasional product update you can opt out of), and to improve the product. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. We do not sell it.
Who we share it with
A short list. Stripe (payments), Postmark (transactional email), Cloudflare (hosting and DDoS protection), and AWS (database). All four are bound by data-processing agreements and only handle the minimum data needed to do their job.
How long we keep it
Account and member data is held while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete it within 30 days unless we are required to keep it longer for tax or legal reasons. Backup snapshots roll off after 90 days.
Your controls
- See your data, export it as CSV, or delete it from Settings → Privacy in the dashboard.
- Opt out of product update emails from any email footer.
- Request a copy or correction of your personal data by emailing privacy@scaleplusrewards.com, we respond within 7 working days.
Cookies
We use cookies for sign-in and basic analytics. Details and opt-outs are on the cookies page.
Children
Scaleplus is not for under-13s. If a child has signed up to a customer rewards program through one of our merchants, the merchant is responsible for the parental consent.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we email account owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
