Common questions

What happens when I hit my member cap?

New members past the cap can't sign up until you upgrade — but every existing member keeps their points, tier, and history. There's no surprise charge; we'll show a clear "Upgrade to keep growing" prompt in the dashboard the first time you exceed the cap, and your sign-up QR shows a "Program full" message to new customers.

Are there transaction fees on top of the plan?

No. Whatever your customers spend, that's their money — we don't take a cut of transactions. The only thing that varies with usage is SMS overage on Plus and Scale (₱0.65 per send beyond your bundled credit) — and you turn that on yourself.

Can I downgrade or cancel?

Anytime, no questions asked. If you cancel mid-cycle on annual, we pro-rate the remaining months at the monthly rate and refund the difference. Your member data is yours — export to CSV from the dashboard before you go.

Do you charge per cashier or per device?

No. Every plan includes unlimited cashiers and unlimited devices for the locations you've paid for. Hire 12 baristas, hand them all a tablet — same price.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, JCB through Stripe (PHP-billed, no FX surprise). Enterprise customers can be invoiced via NET 30 with PO acceptance — your finance team will be happy.

How does the 14-day trial work?

Sign up for Growth or Plus, no card needed for the first 14 days. We'll email you a reminder 3 days before billing kicks in. If you don't add a card by day 14, you drop to Starter — your data is safe, you just lose the paid features until you re-upgrade.

Can my customers download an app?

Optional, not required. Their loyalty card lives at a URL they bookmark, save to home screen as an iOS/Android web-app, or add to Google Wallet. Nothing to install — that's the point. They scan a QR at checkout, see their points instantly, redeem in one tap.

What's the difference between Plus and Scale?

Plus is for one-or-two-location shops that want SMS messaging + audit-log compliance. Scale is for chains: 5 locations included, REST API for integrating into your existing stack, white-label so the customer-facing card is fully your brand, and a real human onboarding you. If you've outgrown Plus and aren't ready for Enterprise, Scale is the natural next step.

Can I use ScalePlus with my existing POS?

Loyverse, Square, and Shopify POS integrations are on Scale and Enterprise. Other POS systems via custom integration on Enterprise. On Plus and below, our cashier app runs on any browser — laptop, tablet, or phone — so no POS integration is required to get going.

Where is my data stored?

Postgres in Singapore (low-latency for the Philippines), encrypted at rest, point-in-time recovery enabled. We're working toward SOC 2 Type II — Enterprise customers get the documentation as it ships. PDPA compliance for the Philippines is built in: you're the data controller, we're the processor.
